Providing curling, skating, figure skating, coaching and experiences for the whole family, the Lockerbie Ice Rink is a great place to have fun, learn or hone your skills on the ice. Their café and bar is a great place to recharge and relax after your time on the ice.

The Lockerbie Ice Rink was looking for a CCTV system to provide them with added security to the outside of the building.

The Project

Using the building plans Corona IT Solutions provided a detailed layout of potential camera positions, coverage and image quality. This was to enable Lockerbie Ice Rink to visualise the set up and its capabilities ahead of agreeing to the proposal.
An 8MP Hikvision ColorVu camera system was installed to provide the required coverage. This was all linked to a network video recorder with multiple monitors for the staff to monitor the building.
Provision was made for installing cameras on the inside of the building, should they be needed in the future.
