Home to the Callander family for over 200 years, Preston Hall is a family-run estate located between nearby Edinburgh and the scenic Lammermuir Hills. Renowned for its beautiful parkland and Georgian architecture, the estate features an outstanding Robert Mitchell house, stable block, and 18th century walled garden, small cosy cottages and larger properties.
With so many properties and a diverse portfolio of businesses, the forward thinking team at Preston Hall knew the importance of having up to date, efficient and smooth running wi-fi, telephony, security and support systems in place.
Objectives
We were really struggling with the WiFi throughout the property and needed a solution. We were also looking for WIFI, CCTV and IT equipment for Rosemains Steading, our workshop and office hot desk site, with communal facilities for tenants.

The Project
Project Type: Wifi & Networking CCTV
At Preston Hall House, Corona IT Solutions installed Wi-Fi Access Points and associated ethernet cables to ensure excellent Wi-Fi coverage throughout the property. They also installed a 4G (5G ready) aerial. When we move around the building, we now don’t lose WIFI signal which is fantastic.
Rosemains Steading had a similar set up for the WIFI with the installation of Wi-Fi Access Points and installing and connecting a 4G router.
Corona IT Solutions then installed and configured an 8 camera CCTV system giving us and our tenants peace of mind that the workshops, office and communal spaces are secure. They also supplied us with a printer for our hot desk space.
