Heathhall Business Centre is located on Heathhall Industrial Estate, Dumfries. With workshops, offices and garages, caravan and boat storage and self-storage units it supports a wide range of business tenants and their customers.
Objectives
Being able to offer our tenants free Wi-Fi was really important to us, and what we had in place was not meeting our needs.
We have since used them for all our technology needs.
The Project
Project Type: Wifi & Networking CCTV
Wi-fi & networking
Corona IT Solutions designed, installed and configured a Wireless Internet Service Provider Network. This connects each unit across the site to a central point which ensures all tenants have a minimum internet connection speed of 50 mb per second. There is now also a guest network available across the site. We let the team know whenever a new tenant is moving in and they ensure they can access the Wi-fi.
Business phones
The Team installed a business phone system allowing for advanced call handling.
CCTV and ANPR
The Corona IT team installed and configured a CCTV system across the site. The system has the added security of footage being able to be accessed remotely via an app. The final stage of the security upgrade project is the installation of a number ANPR cameras which are going in across the site shortly.
Door entry system
Corona IT are currently working on a video door entry system with touch screen. The system enables delivery drivers (or anyone) to call any unit on the site and tenants, via an app, see the driver and let them know where to leave or remotely let them in to deliver their package
Ongoing Support
Corona IT provides managed IT Support on an ongoing basis, something I no longer need to worry about. They also cover our end point security giving peace of mind that business systems are covered.
